Join us for an exclusive event hosted by the Design-Build Institute of America Houston Chapter, where attendees will join a captivating tour of the Stadium's normally hidden areas, showcasing the intricate aspects of this collaborative delivery project.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the collaborative efforts between designers, builders, and engineers as they navigate through the intricacies of construction.
Following the tour, we invite all attendees to unwind and network at the Red River Icehouse on South Main Street.

2:00 PM - Welcome and Registration Attendees park in Blue Lot 19 and gather at the stadium's South entrance.
2:15 PM - Brief overview of design-build methodology and its advantages Introduction to the significance of the tour and its objectives.
2:30 PM - Guided Tour of NRG Stadium Participants will divide into groups led by Clay Bearden (Director of Projects at Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation), focusing on unique aspects of the project. Opportunities for interaction with project managers, architects, engineers, and construction teams. Insights into construction processes, innovations, and challenges encountered during the projects.
3:30 PM - Wrap-Up and Q&A Session Reconvene at the starting location for a brief wrap-up session. Open floor for questions and discussions with tour guides and project representatives. Reflections on key takeaways and learnings from the tour.
3:45 PM - Transition to Red River Icehouse Departure from tour sites to the Red River Icehouse. 10308 S Main St, Houston, TX 77025
4:00 PM onwards - Social Networking Red River Icehouse Casual networking opportunity at the Red River Icehouse on South Main St. Refreshments, drinks, and light snacks available. Informal mingling and networking among attendees, industry professionals, and organizers. Continued discussions on design-build topics, industry trends, and future collaborations.

With nearly 30 years of experience at Populous, Brady Spencer brings dynamic, thoughtful design to any project team. Brady has experience as a project architect, project manager and principal in charge — specializing in NFL and collegiate football projects. His work in project administration, consultant coordination, production of contract documents and construction administration provides clients with confidence and clarity at all phases of a project.
Brady’s recent work includes serving as the principal in charge for the U.S. Bank Stadium Secure Perimeter project and the Alamodome 2025 Final Four Improvements project. He has also been involved in stadium master plan studies for M&T Bank Stadium, U.S. Bank Stadium, MetLife Stadium and Acrisure Stadium.
Prior to his work on these stadium projects and studies, Brady was an integral part of numerous NFL and collegiate stadium designs and renovations, including working as the principal in charge for the University of Arkansas Razorback Stadium Renovation Project and the M&T Bank Stadium improvements in Baltimore, Maryland. Brady has also been involved in working with Populous’ event staff in the planning and implementation of 20 Super Bowls.
