Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee plays a crucial role in expanding DBIA's reach. This involves organizing presentation resources, leading fundraising efforts, and engaging new members. Your contribution here will directly impact our growth and presence in the industry.


Programs Committee

Chair: William Ikerd II, PE, PhD - IKERD Consulting, LLC

Meets: TBD for 2024

If you're interested in the educational aspects of DBIA, the Programs Committee is for you. Help design event curriculums, select speakers, and conduct polls to tailor sessions meeting members' needs.


Young Professionals Committee

Chair: Ryan Allbright - Cokinos | Young

Meets: Meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Central via zoom

Focusing on the next generation of leaders, this committee provides networking opportunities and educational events tailored to young professionals in the region, promoting leadership and best practices in design-build. The Committee also focuses on university student and faculty engagement & outreach.


2025 Regional Conference Planning Committee

Chair: Scott Cochran - Rosendin

Meets: Meets once a month, 6 months prior to the event.

Get involved in planning and executing one of the most anticipated events in the DBIA calendar—the Annual Regional Conference.


Event Planning Committees (Central Texas and DFW Clay Shoots and the DFW Golf Tournament)

These committees organize signature events that provide networking opportunities and raise funds to support our activities.

Legal and Legislative Task Force

Chairs: Tim Matheny - Peckar & Abramson, P.C. and Brett Poulos - Burns & McDonnell

This task force monitors legislative developments and helps DBIA influence design-build legislation, ensuring our industry remains at the cutting edge of legal and governmental changes.

Local Chapter Steering Committees play active roles in various regions. From Albuquerque to Tulsa, each local steering committee is crucial in planning and executing DBIA events in their respective areas. This is where you can make a direct impact on your local community. Meeting times and dates vary, depending on the chapter. We have local chapters seeking engagement in the following areas:
