Open Positions
We are currently seeking nominations for the following two-year board positions:
1. DEI Chair
Drives diversity in regional leadership and programming.
Builds alliances with organizations to expand outreach.
Supports MWDBE member engagement and HBCU outreach.
2. Membership Chair
Leads recruitment and retention initiatives.
Collaborates with local chapters to grow membership.
Hosts quarterly new member events.
3. Owners Engagement Chair
Organizes forums to share design-build best practices with other Owners.
Assists in the creation of owner-specific content on the use of design-build.
Encourages owner membership in DBIA.
4. Student Engagement Chair
Acts as a liaison between colleges and universities.
Supports student chapter formation and design-build curriculum.
Encourages student participation in events and scholarships.
5. NextGen Committee Chair
Recruits and engages Young Professional members.
Tracks participation and promotes NextGen-centric programs.
Facilitates scholarship awareness and volunteer opportunities.
6. General Board Member
Contributes to regional strategy and governance.
Reviews and approves budgets, bylaws, and initiatives.
7. Chapter Chair
Chapter Chairs act as liaisons between regional leadership and their chapter members, organizing events, building local steering committees, and driving member engagement. Chapters seeking leadership:
