Marketing Manager

Position: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Chief Difference Maker

Part time: 10-20 hours per week. This position is a remote position.


Responsible for:

As the Marketing Manager, responsibilities of this position include brainstorming and coordinating client marketing strategies, formulating, directing, and coordinating marketing activities including campaigns, social media (both organic and paid), creation of digital content, updating websites, managing email campaigns, monitoring analytics and recommending strategic content placement in conjunction with social media

calendar, graphic design, and proofreading content.


Supervisory Responsibility:

The Marketing Manager will not have any direct reports. They will work with other marketing coordinators to complete marketing tasks.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Implement marketing plans

  • Create and implement a social media calendar from direction of the Chief Difference Maker on the social media strategy for client accounts.

  • Create content including but not limited to image graphics, videos, gifs, and audio for social media channels, ticketing sites, websites and blogs.

  • Post or share 1-5 times a week on each social media account in regards to the social media calendar through Meta Business Suite.

  • Monitor, listen, and respond appropriately to any comments on the social media accounts with 24 hours.

  • Coordinate social media channel advertisements (if applicable) for each account.

  • Produce monthly analytical reports on each account that would include engagements, views, comments, likes, etc.

  • Edit and create video content for nu marketing clients.

  • Proofread blogs and other written articles that will be posted on website blogs.

  • Create and coordinate Ticketleap digital invitations which would include content, images, video, etc.

  • Update websites with content and photos (WordPress, etc.)

  • Layout and manage email campaigns (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)

  • Report any issues or questions to your supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Required High School Diploma or Equivalent. Two or four-year marketing, communication, journalism, or business degree preferred but not required.

  • Four to seven years of experience in marketing

  • You must have Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop) installed on your own computer.


Experience:

  • Required four years of marketing experience and handling of multiple projects.

  • Talented graphic designer proficient in design software (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.

  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.

  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.

  • Knowledge and Experience with Ticketleap, WordPress, and Slack preferred.

  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.


Skill Set: Good communicator, problem solver, and strong proofreader. Organized, savvy

marketer who is creative and has good writing skills. Responsiveness and

communication are instrumental in this position. Attention to detail is a must.
