The DBIA-SW Executive Committee met in early March to discuss nominations for the 2025-2026 DBIA-SW Board of Directors. The following candidates have been proposed for your consideration and approval.
The DBIA Southwest Region is governed by a Board of Directors, with members serving two-year terms from April to April. Officer candidates are nominated by the Executive Council in accordance with our bylaws. Candidates must be DBIA members in good standing to be eligible for election as a Regional Officer, Board Member, Committee Chairperson, or Chapter Chairperson.
The Opening Plenary Breakfast at the April 15th 2025 DBIA-SW Regional Conference will serve as our Annual Meeting, where the election of the Treasurer and approval of the Board Slate will occur. Elections will be decided by a majority of the members in good standing, present and voting. Members may also nominate additional candidates from the floor during the meeting.
