A Collaborative Behavior Assessment (CBA) uses a process designed to evaluate how individuals or groups work together in a team setting. It focuses on observing and analyzing key aspects of teamwork, such as communication, problem solving, role distribution, and conflict resolution. This presentation will introduce the concept of CBA and explain its importance in evaluating how teams interact and work together.  

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the concept of collaborative behavior. Learn what the CBA is, its purpose, how it helps evaluate team dynamics, and why it’s critical for team success.

  2. Recognize the benefits of implementing a CBA. Gain an understanding of potential advantages of using CBAs during the procurement phase, such as improving team performance, fostering better communication, and enhancing conflict resolution.  

  3. Explore the key components of effective CBA. Explore methods and tools used to assess collaborative behavior, including observations, feedback, and self-assessment.

  4. Understand steps and tools for implementation. Learn about the process of implementing a CBA, including selecting tools, setting objectives, and gathering feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
