Brad Cummings

Brad is the Sr. Vice President of Procurement and Contract Management at ATP leading the commercial efforts for Austin Light Rail.  He has more than a decade of experience leading the commercial efforts for mega transportation projects across the country, including a new streetcar and light rail extension projects in Arizona, a first of its kind autonomous vehicle and technology driven progressive DBOM project in Florida, and a new commuter rail project in north central Texas. Prior to working in public sector commercial activities, Brad worked at a law firm in the Phoenix area on complex contract litigation cases.  He graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in political science and Arizona State University with a juris doctorate degree.  He believes that collaboration is the key to successful projects and that must start with how we partner together.  He has implemented key changes to public procurement to ensure that owners and contractors start off as partners on a project with the same goals and objectives.
