Dana Pomeroy, DBIA, AIA, LEED AP

Mr. Pomeroy has over 43 years in the design and construction industry both in the United States and overseas. Recognized as The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company's National Director of Design Management, Mr. Pomeroy was instrumental in establishing the corporate D-B policies, best practices, encouraging DBIA certification and leading internal training for several hundred employees. Through his efforts in promoting Design-Build delivery he continues to guide comprehensive integrated design and construction efforts both internally and externally, across all market sectors. His experience and knowledge of both the public and private sectors has provided him the opportunity to be a main speaker at many design-build workshops, including ones for other association, participated in forums for hundreds of Owners, Designers, Contractors and in his fifth year of being the Co-Chair of DBIA's National Conference. In addition to all of his design-build efforts Mr. Pomeroy is also engaged in CMAR and IPD delivery systems, while focused on design excellence through project team integration, sustainability, resiliency, Lean practices and full deployment of BIM during design and construction.
